About this free schema validator

What does this schema validator check?

It fetches your page, extracts every JSON-LD block, and audits it the way answer engines read structured data: missing schema types for your page type, invalid JSON, missing required properties, and AEO-specific gaps like absent FAQPage markup. Each issue comes with a ready-to-paste JSON-LD fix.

How is this different from Google's Rich Results Test?

Google's test validates syntax against rich-result eligibility. This goes further for AI citation: it tells you which schemas your page type should have but doesn't, explains why each gap matters for AI Overviews and answer engines, and writes the fix instead of only flagging the error.

Will adding schema get my page cited?

Schema makes your content easier to parse and attribute, which helps. It is not sufficient on its own — a page with perfect markup and nothing worth quoting still won't be cited. Treat it as removing an obstacle rather than as the thing that wins the citation.

Is the schema checker really free?

Yes — ten checks per day, no signup for the check itself. The first three issues are always visible; the full report unlocks with an email.
