What this blog is for

citelity helps people who own content sites find the pages AI answers have stopped sending them traffic for, fix those pages, and measure what changed in Search Console and GA4. The blog is the working notes behind that: how ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude pick their sources, and how to tell why clicks fell.

How the articles are made

  • Every claim links to its source. Studies, vendor documentation and Google's own pages are linked where they are cited, and listed at the end of each article.
  • AI-assisted, source-checked. Research and drafting use AI tools. Each statistic, date and quote is checked against its primary source before publishing, and again when an article is updated.
  • Opinion is labelled as opinion. Where nothing has been measured, the article says so instead of inventing a number.
  • Corrections are dated. When something changes, the article says what changed and when, at the end. The date at the top is the last real update.

Spotted something wrong? Write to hello@citelity.com and it gets checked and fixed.
